About The Role

FGPG is seeking a high-performance Director of Strategic Growth to lead new business development across trade shows, experiential marketing, custom exhibits, museums, corporate environments, and live events.
This is a player-coach role for a proven hunter who thrives on building pipeline, closing complex deals, and developing long-term client relationships—while also helping shape and grow a sales function.
You will be responsible for both personally driving new revenue and supporting the development of a growing business development team.

What You’ll Do

You will own and drive new revenue growth through a combination of personal selling and strategic leadership.

  • Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities with Fortune 1000 and mid-market brands
  • Build and manage a consistent pipeline of net-new opportunities
  • Lead high-value sales conversations with marketing, brand, and experiential decision-makers
  • Develop and execute strategies to expand FGPG’s presence in key industries and verticals
  • Partner with internal teams (creative, engineering, estimating, production) to build winning solutions
  • Collaborate with Account Management to pinpoint and capture high-value expansion and cross-selling potential.
  • Collaborate with Marketing to develop campaigns that generate qualified leads.
  • Guide thought leadership initiatives, case studies, social media strategy, and industry visibility.
  • Support and mentor members of the sales team as the organization scales
  • Represent FGPG at industry events, trade shows, and client engagements
  • Drive disciplined forecasting, pipeline management, and revenue accountability

  • Helping develop a high-performing, accountable sales culture
  • Driving measurable revenue growth year over year

What You Bring

  • 10+ years of business development or sales experience
  • Proven success generating and closing net-new business
  • Experience in trade shows, experiential marketing, exhibits, events, or related industries
  • Track record of selling six-figure and seven-figure solutions
  • Experience in or readiness for a player-coach leadership role
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to build pipeline independently

Compensation

Competitive base salary + performance-based commission (expected total compensation aligned with experience and performance)

We are looking for someone who can work out of our Huntington Beach, CA, Headquarters
